Does Your Google Business Profile OFFER Value?
In this week's newsletter, we're going to talk about offers because, boy oh boy, may they be the one thing stopping your Google Business Profile from ranking #1 on Google Maps!
Also - while we still write this newsletter the good-ol-fashion way (cramming last minute every Tuesday night or Wednesday morning), we do use AI to create the images, and aren't they cool?! Alright back to business...
Most businesses don't pay attention to the offers area of their Google Business Profile, which means this is your time to shine. All you need to do is simply add any offer to the "Offers" section of your Google Business Profile. This offer can be as simple as "Get a free estimate," "$5 off your first purchase," or "2-for-1 Drinks on Wednesdays".
The point is that Google wants to provide its users with as much value as possible to keep them coming back, and if you make Google seem more valuable by offering deals to its users, Google will likely want to show you off.
Here's how you can add an offer in just a minute or two:
- Go to https://business.google.com in Chrome
- Select "Add update"
- Select "Add offer" then complete the details using as many of your target keywords as possible. Don't get lazy; fill out those optional details and add a photo! (if you don't have a photo available, go to the "add update" section and generate an image using ProfilePro. Just download it then add it to the offer image area.)

Add an "Offer" to your Google Business Profile. If you need an image to use, just go to the Add update (then update) section to generate one. Then, download it and use it for the offer itself.
